Thanksgiving! A day when you can eat an incredible amount of delicious food, spend time with the people you love, and you don’t even have to give gifts! Whether your gathering includes watching the NFL or picking up all the winter decorations for the next big holiday, this Harvest Festival has a lot to be thankful for. We can’t miss Thanksgiving, even as we start watching Black Friday ads in preparation for the holiday season that will take us into the new year. Each of us needs to consider Thanksgiving for what it is: a time to be thankful for all the good things in our lives. A time to think about where you are in your life and where you are going. A time to enjoy the company of family, friends, and all sorts of loved ones. And preparing for such an important holiday is an important and challenging task to the fabulous cooks, responsible drivers, men and women in our armed forces and those who will be working this holiday. So to all, thank God for our veterans here and abroad, our cooks & sober drivers, those who are working today and finally all of you! Who make this the best world it can be, Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Sometimes the best thing you can say is what someone else has already said. Here are some famous quotes that may be just right for your Thanksgiving social media posts. Just make sure you get the author right!
“I come from a family where gravy is considered a beverage.” Erma Bombeck
“The thankful receiver bears a plentiful harvest.” William Blake
“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.” W.T. Purkiser
“I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual. It is surprising how contented one can be with nothing definite — only a sense of existence.” Henry David Thoreau
“Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse.” Henry Van Dyke
Thanksgiving has wings and goes where it must go. Your prayer knows much more about it than you do.” Victor Hugo
And to conclude I leave you with some corny good Thanksgiving jokes, and maybe one of you will recount it over dinner with the family!
What did the mama turkey say to her naughty son? If your papa could see you now, he’d turn over in his gravy!
Why did the police arrest the turkey? They suspected fowl play.
This pumpkin pied to be here tonight.
Who’s not hungry at Thanksgiving? The turkey because it’s already stuffed.
What’s the ratio of a pumpkin’s circumference to its diameter? Pumpkin pi!
